Dr. Hahn is Professor of Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center in New York, and Chief Scientific Office of the Echo Core Lab at the Cardiovascular Research Foundation. She was appointed Director of Interventional Echocardiography in the Columbia Valve Center in 2011. She is an active member of the American Society of Echocardiography (numerous prior committees, past BOD, Scientific Sessions Planning Committee) as well as the American College of Cardiology (member of the Competency Management Committee, past Scientific Sessions Planning Committee/Valvular Heart Disease Topic Coordinator). She has published over 200 articles on Echocardiography and was on the writing committees for the following American Society of Echocardiography recommendations/guidelines: "Guidelines for Performing a Comprehensive Transesophageal Echocardiographic Examination", "Recommendations for Noninvasive Evaluation of Native Valvular Regurgitation", "Guidelines for the Evaluation of Valvular Regurgitation After Percutaneous Valve Repair or Replacement".  She has been on the following Academic Research Consortium writing committees: Valve Academic Research Consortium (VARC-2) and Paravalvular Leak Academic Research Consortium.   She participates and a co-principal investigator in over 15 trials at Columbia University.
